What power is required for the Inflatable?

A 10amp power point should ideally be available within 30 metres of the Inflatable. If power is unavailable a minimum of 5KVA generator will be required. Jumping Jim’s can supply a petrol blower for an extra charge of $110.00.

Does the Inflatable have to be on grass?

No, But is highly recommended due to safety. If any part of the inflatable will be on a surface other than grass e.g. artifical lawn, concrete driveways, pavers and inside halls or gyms, please inform the booking office to ensure weights and tarps are included in your hire. (No extra charges apply.)

Can I have an Inflatable in a public park?

Having an inflatable in a Public Park requires permission from the local authority. Some public parks may not have access to power, query this when you contact council. If power is unavailable a blower/generator will need to be obtained.

Does someone need to supervise the operation of the Inflatable?

Yes, a responsible adult over 18 years of age must supervise the Inflatable at all times. If you are expecting 25 children or more, a hired and accredited supervisor from our company is highly recommended . All corporate / public events require our company accredited supervisor. Company supervision includes public and product liability.

What happens in Inclement Weather conditions?

Should our company have any concerns with weather, we will contact you the morning of your hire. Generally with light rain the booking will still continue. Due to safety reasons our company is unable to set up in medium to heavy rain or wind, even though many Inflatables come with rain/shade covers. These covers prevent the rain from falling directly into the castle, however rain water lying around the castle make surfaces slippery and wet and also pose other danger issues for the electrical source.

What happens if we cancel a booking?

Upon booking confirmation all cancellations incur a $55.00 fee ( excluding cancellations made by Jumping Jim’s Castle Hire).  In the event of cancellation due to  bad weather no cancellaton fee will be incurred if  12 hours notice is given.  If  the inflatable commences transit, a $55/hour fee for loading and driving is  payable.  Rescheduled bookings will not incur this fee.
